Have you ever made a meal with wine? We decided to try something that is not so often on our menu, so this week we combine fish with red wine!
For this great lunch (or dinner) you need:
- 1/4 cups of scattered caper
- 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped oregano
- 1 piece of shallot
- Black look
- sesam oil
- 4 tuna steaks (recommended fresh, but also can freeze)
- 4 tablespoons of arugula
- 2-3 pieces of dried tomato
- 1 cup of dry red wine
- 0,5 kg of potatoes
Mix the caper, the oregano, the arugula, the potato and 1 tbsp of sesame oil in the pot. Add pepper leave aside.
Start cooking potatoes for mashed potatoes. Salt and pepper tuna steaks on both sides.
While the potato is cooked, place 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in the large frying pan at medium high temperature. When the pan is warm, add tuna steaks and allow for a few minutes to simmer, with the turning on both sides, in order to fry the steaks evenly (the time of simmering depends on the thickness of the steak). Then add a cup of wine and let it simmer until about a half you pour into it evaporates. Season wine sauce with salt and pepper.
In other bowl mix arugula and tablespoon of sesame oil and a finely chopped dried tomato. Season with taste. Make mashed potatoes from cooked potatoes.
Put mashed potatoes in the middle of the plate. Put a mixture of arugula and dried tomatoes on the top of the puree, and then put the tuna steak over it. Pour the tuna with the sauce from the caper and put one black look on it. Pour the sauce of wine over mashed potatoes and tuna.
There is one rule: If you don’t like to drink a particular wine, do not place rather it in a meal. But don’t worry, in KoVoli we only have quality wines!
Who likes fish and wine, this recipe is so fine!
P.S. Do not forget to drink the rest of the wine! 🙂
