In the vicinity of the beautiful blue Danube, in Smederevo in 2006, Janko winery was founded. Gathered about this idea with great passion, they made efforts to unnecessarily neglect the unfairly neglected variety of wines, smederevka. By spreading knowledge and awareness of the special characteristics of this variety, through their story and tastes, their wines are soon recognized as top-quality. This winemaker example is that visionary, ideas, knowledge and effort bring good results that are the easiest to share with others who have the opportunity to taste the authentic Smederevo’s taste of wine.
