There where Jazak springs and where unspoiled nature is protected by the slopes of Fruska Gora, is placed farm named Gorski. In 2008, with great desire and enthusiasm, Ljiljana Pusic Mojic has decided that authentic goat cheese must be tried by everyone. She founded the goat farm and small dairy in order to remind us why our old dear ones believed that goat cheese is food and medicine at the same time.
Alpina – goats that gives high quality milk
When Ljiljana founded the farm and dairy, the only thing she wanted was quality that exceed all standards. That is reason why she choosed alpine goat race to be on the farm – the ones that are most valued because they give milk of special quality. The flock of its alpine goats does not leave the southern slopes of Fruska Gora, so this geographically protected origin has provided us healthy pastures and clean spring water, which has contributed to creating tastes of superior origin and quality.
Why is healthy goat cheese?
Gorski cheese is produced according to traditional recipe, as Ljiljana taught from her old dear ones. It made from 100% pure goat milk, without any preservatives, additives or artificial colours. Everything is natural and pure – from the pasture to the final product – cheese. Goat cheese is a source of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and even B12, which are necessary for the strengthening of nervous system. Minerals calcium and phosphorus are responsible for bone strength, and proportion of zinc and selenium protects and strengthens our immunity. It contains high proportion of proteins and healthy fats and naturally low proportion of carbohydrates, which is great for healthy food. It has a high nutritional value and it is easier to digest than others types of cheese. It is abundant with natural fiber that accelerate our metabolism. It’s less fat and less caloric compared to cow’s cheese.

Goat’s milk and goat’s cheese are healthy groceries. Our old dear ones knew this, so they used them as food and medicine.
