Wood is a natural, environmentally friendly and harmless material. If we return to the past, we will remember that our ancestors considered wood an irreplacable natural material and that many elements in the house were made of wood. It was and still is a synonym for quality, although we sometimes forget this and buy cheaper and harmful materials.
Wood – a warm and natural material
Still, today there are those who, with their work and creativity, want to show and remind others that wood is primarily a healthy material. So in 2016, in Malošište, WoodHolz was created with the idea to offer domestic products of high quality wood. They started their firm in 2011 when they produced various cutting and serving boards for Scandinavian countries, candle holders, mills for pepper and salt and many other useful and practical elements. Scandinavians recognized the unique quality of Serbian production, and items from Serbia were soon found in kitchens around the world.
What makes WoodHolz different?
WoodHolz products are of the highest quality – they are made of pure beech, cherry, walnut wood, and there are numerous elements from acacia, ash, oak, but also olive wood whose processing is given special attention. Wood does not release harmful substances, resins or other harmful ingredients. What makes this brand even more unique is Danish design – perfect, minimalist, one that leaves no one indifferent. Great craftsmanship and knowledge are embedded in each product individually. There is plenty of effort, work, planning, and above all designing how the product should look and, in addition, to be particularly functional. Every piece of wood from which the product will form will go through “a lot of hands” because only this guarantees that it will fully serve and endure all the challenges in the kitchen.
Awareness of ecological materials and their daily use in the household
Unfortunately, artificial materials are present in many households. No matter how easy they looks to maintain they can not be compared to wood. WoodHolz went five steps further – all products are completely natural and environmentally friendly. They are also special because they do not use lacquers and colors that are harmful to health – instead, products are coated with food oil and beeswax! Everything is natural, pure and unique. They treat the wood with respected and strive to fully preserve its appearance and natural beauty.
