The story of Bojkovcanka
It was named by the nearby hill above the Avala – not to weird, or too common, it would be said. However, since the first drop of this brandy was made, a lot of has changed – time, opportunities and technology of production, but one thing didn’t: unique quality and traditional family recipe. It has remained authentic, despite challenges that would affect her authenticity. The Kuburic family nurtures this brandy with great love and care, aware that each bottle presents continuation of an old family story.
Bojkovcanka plum brandy presents pride of family distillery. In order to provide the taste of tradition, with great love and care, it was aged a decade in mulberry barells, what gives it a specific flavour. Aging in strictly controlled conditions has made this plum synonymous with top quality. Unique Serbian plum brandy is distinguished by shades of amber with golden reflection. Kuburic Distillery has opened the door of its cellars for those who want to know more about the traditional production of brandy, its history and its long development path. How many bottles was preserved, and even those made by technique of blowing glass, which were handmade, and in which every drop of Bojkovcanka was poured, you will step into a kind of the first brandy museum in this region. You will have a opportunity to see the largest bottle of unusual shape that entered even in Ginis’s book of records. Each bottle has a special story and presents one piece of the rich history of this homemade brandy. You will be welcomed with warm atmosphere and 500 exhibits which were carefully preserved and colected for decades.
