There is one big and important question (or maybe several): what does mean that label organically on succulent tomato, peppers, meat, oil or juice?
Okay, what is organic production?
Organic production refers to the way cultivating and processing agricultural products. Such a definition means (or should be) that the food was cultivated on completelly clean soil, untreated chemical substances and also that was not sprayed and that no harmful compounds were added to it. In order to bring something to the title of the organic, it should not contain traces nor taste of synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, hormones or antibiotics. Do not be fooled by the idea that organic-food-super-healthy-food-which-can not-all-afford-on-your-own-table. This food are healthier because have preserved and abundance of natural vitamine and minerals that have not been destroyed by chemical treatment. And yes – it’s avaliable to each of us.

Organic vs local food
Local food is the one produced by your neighbor. We are joking, even thought it can be true. This usually refers to foods produced by local producers in their agricultural farmsteads and who keep fresh tomatoes, cheroots or homemade meat from their farm for us. If it satisfies production standards, then local food production can be of organic origin.
Organic does (not) mean its healthy
Pay attention on this: certified organic food always carries a recognizable logo that must be apperent. On the other hand, there are local producers who do not have organic certification, but still satisfies all organic production standards. It is clear that there is abuse as well, especially when it comes to “healthy food”. If you already want to buy homemade, healthy and organic, do it with verified local manufacturers, in whose quality and safety of domestic production you do not suspect.
We trusted Organic goat cheese Dana, delicious Vrtlari jams, in whose quality and domestic production we are convinced, and with our dearest we proudly share the lyophilized organic fruit Drenovac and Fruška Gora linden honey with a geographical indication. Our table always spices a glass of wine from the organic cultivation of the vineyard wine Jokić.
Organic is what is natural.
