Adatable, strong character and flavour, prokupac is a variety that is proudly growing for centuries in the Balkans. The favourite place where its fullnesscomes to the fore is the sun-bathed central Serbia. Each sweet berry of branch vine can give a wine of intense colour, with striking flavours, expressed tannins and balanced acids. The fragrant tone of prokupac reminiscent of ripe berry fruits, and can also surprise with spicy notes. The older and more mature it is, the better, so gets local tones of the land from whom it comes. It can surprise with its beauty when it reveals in unique rose wines. It is the strongest when it reveals its deeper note of a delicious red wine. The Prokupac is created for all those who like to feel a strong impression of tradition and the stamp of the local climate with every sip.
Wine and food
The taste of every meal is especially evident when it fits perfectly with the appropriate wine. Prokupac invites us to experiment and reveal its nature again. The rose wine of this variety is idealy matched with all kinds of meat from the grill, and especially with the seafood. It’s irresistible with roast pear and especially charmed with grilled squid. Darker, more intense colours of red prokupac are irresistible with traditional Serbian dishes such as sarma, but also with goulash or baking, pork buns or rolling dried plums in pancetta… it simply can round up every dish. There are also those who have tried it with hard goats and cow chesses – they say it’s just a pair of memories.

Prokupac Vila Vina is distingushed by a gorgeous red colour. It is crafted by juicy tannins and rich, deep flavours with delicious tropical fruits. Ivanovic prokupac opens us with a fruit flavour that refreshes. It is very strong, expressive in the finals. The delicate, spicy fragrance that sweps behind the senses and the most experienced sommeliers is characterized by the Cokot Experiment red wine. Careful nourished, full, rounded flavours, in which sweet notes of cherry and red berries are felt, are adorned by Tosic Stranputica.
